J2A Pilgrimage
J2A PILGRIMAGE
The St. John’s High School Youth Group has been going through the Journey to Adulthood Curriculum for the last 4 years and has culminated this part of the curriculum with a Pilgrimage to the Ghost Ranch Retreat Center in Albiquiu, New Mexico. The week was spent giving service to nearby communities through projects such as gardening for churches and a monastery, adobe brick making for a habitat like project, and working on projects for a school (building a very large chicken coop), and other projects around the Ghost Ranch property. Music, prayer, and reflection were all part of the daily routine, along with some wonderful hikes in the nearby canyons and desert. Our heartfelt appreciation to all who helped this to happen.
