Visit of Presiding Bishop Katherine Jefferts Schori 11/10/2013

What a glorious celebration we had this morning! The church was full, the music was grand, and Bishop Katharine’s sermon was spot-on! Her visit with the children of Godly Play was not to be missed. They asked her favourite animal, what she does when she’s not working, where she lives, and more. The dinner afterward was delicious and Katharine visited with our youth and parishioners until her departure for Hobart – William Smith and the next event.

J2A Trip to New Orleans , July 2012

Here we are under the highway bridge where we set up, prepared, and served a full meal on Saturday evening (much of it in a raging thunderstorm) to over 90 homeless people. It was the most powerful part of the trip and has kept us thinking and responding for several days.
