Service at 4:00 PM a.m. December 24, 2020 via Zoom
As the church is closed to in-person services until sometime in 2021, the service for Christmas Eve will be Lessons and Carols, taken from King’s College, Cambridge, and the service they began in 1918. We will be using the King James Version (translation) of the Bible with seven readers, two soloists, and Daniel Chang at the organ. The service will begin at 4 p.m. via Zoom and all are welcome to “tune in.”
For the children of the parish (young and old!) Rev. Keisha has recorded a wonderful story, “The Christmas Miracle of Jonathon Toomey” by Susan Wojciechowski and illustrated by P.J. Lynch. Here is the link you can use any time:
If you are an “envelope person” – that is, if you have asked for church envelopes to use for your pledge offering, they are now labeled and ready to be picked up. Ruth will set up a table immediately inside the office door so that you need only run in and run out. They will be in alphabetical order and you can come and get yours Mon – Thurs., 9 – noon, beginning today!
Our Junior Warden, John Taylor, is asking for volunteers who may have knowledge of Church maintenance projects from past years to contribute narratives for a short term (1-2 year) listing of Church facilities maintenance issues that need to be undertaken. We are especially interested in needed building infrastructure, including heating, lighting, plumbing, and structural projects. This effort will not include aesthetic issues such as paint, floor coverings, and wallpaper – as that input will be requested at a later date to be included in a Five Year Facilities Master Plan that will be put together after this current effort. Interested parties should contact John at email@example.com
