Announcements, Sunday – June 25, 2017

This morning we welcome our Guest Celebrant, The Very Rev. Dr. William Petersen. Be sure to give him a warm St. John’s welcome!

Next week is the first Sunday of the month, and the loose offering will go to the Clergy Discretionary Fund. Please be generous. The need is great.

Join the fun! The 1st Annual “Family Promise of Ontario County Bed Race” will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 10:00 am at Kershaw Park in Canandaigua, NY. Teams of five will construct and decorate a bed on wheels and race, using manpower only, against other teams for awards and prizes. Our congregation is an important part of this developing mission to help homeless families become sustainably independent. Please consider putting a team together with your friends, family, and neighbors to make this event a success, or become a sponsor. For more information, contact Debbie Cole-Wenderlich at dcole42377@gmail.com, or at (315) 521-1880, or go to www.familypromiseontariocounty.org for more details.

  1. Donna,
The easiest way to find an Episcopal Church that does have an evening service is to check the diocesan website. Also, there is a service at Ferris Hills, open to all, on the second Wednesday of July and August. There will be none in June.
Our weekly eucharists will begin again in September.
